I searched the place for clues and found a paper, the handwriting was bad and it was covered in blood. I stared at it for hours till I finally could crack the code, it had the combination in which the vaccine was hidden in. I searched and looked for the safe but I couldn't find it. I disappointedly was about to leave then I heard sounds of the hollow floor, I looked under the table, and there it was a safe, I opened it and looked at the syringe, oddly the cell in the syringe were fighting and wrestling with each other. I thought there must be an abrupt virus spreading so I injected it to myself. At first I felt exhaustion and fatigue and after a while i passed out and fell on the floor...

"You did this to me, it's all your fault and you're gonna pay for it" I woke up horridly, what an absurd nightmare I had, it was around 9 AM, I had to go to work so I got up, got something to eat and went out. On my way to work I realised there was no one on the streets and something stunk. It's 9 in the morning and the whole city must be going to work now, where are all the people? I asked myself. I went inside the building. I looked around, no one was there except the scientist I worked for. I couldn't see him clearly through his office glass but he seemed fine, I went to see my task board and I noticed I had no task and that was very weird because I murdered at least 2 people everyday, people who knew too much. I wanted to consult it with my boss so I knocked his office door twice but got no answer, I tried to open the door but it was locked, I was worried so I kicked the door open and I found him dead, his neck was broken but who and why would he do so?

The window broke; I woke up in fear: "what was that? who did that?" I felt exhausted but I crawled out of the bed and looked out of the window, I couldn't see anyone outside it was dark and diffused in silent. I tried to going back to sleep but I sensed eyes watching over me, like a hovering dark cloud, checking every move I make, I buried my head under the blanket, thinking it's an odd nightmare, but it wasn't. I looked at the ceiling though my eyes were blurry but I saw someone with a horrifying gaze, and what I call hardly a face. His eyes were glowing red, and you could catch them like a traffic light, when he noticed I'm looking at him, he rand and jumped out of the window in flee. But I lived on the 18th floor...I stay still in astonishment and think it was all a dream and went back to sleep...

It was midnight, fourteen days after the virus experiment, I was walking back to my small flat and accidentally shoved someone. He couldn't stand up so I tried to give him a hand, but it was weird because he had eyes red as blood and his mouth looked as if he had a few tongues in there, I really didn't know what was going on so I just tried to get home as fast as I could. I was switching the TV's channels and noticed a scientist on TV talking about different things they discovered by testing blood of some people that been killed and vanished. I glanced closely and listened: "The reason for the murders in the past few weeks is still unknown, no human murderer would drain every single drop of his victim's blood." It all felt like a horror film, I quickly switched the channels locked the doors then went to bed. But my mind was somewhere else, thinking about the guy I saw on my way, how its possible ?

Chapter 1 : Spreading Part 1

In 9th of October 2021,

I was hired for a security job in a lab in California. I was a murderer, did all the dirty work for them only for money. After a while I was ordered to capture someone named Alumit and they tested a virus on him. Unfortunately he died and I was responsible to hide the body, I hid the body in a drug store so it would be blamed on someone else but I was not aware of the consequences, after ten hours I found out that the drug seller is dead and his blood was drained out of his body from a small wound on his neck. I was confused, It started spreading, people dying and their blood is drained. I thought about it, asked the scientist I worked for if the accidents were related and he said no. I was satisfied then and didn't worry about it.
